Lake Anna General Information
Dream Catcher is located in Both Waters Estates, the only community on Lake Anna
with access to both the public and private sides of the lake. The public side
covers 9,600 acres, while the private side is 3,400 acres. The private side has
no commercial development and probably never will. Access to this side is only
through lakefront communities like Both Waters. The private side has less boat
traffic. Fishing on the private side is very good. Its warmer temperatures
provide a unique winter fishery and extend the swimming season well into the
Fall. On the public side, there are many lakefront marinas to serve the boating
community as well as public access points such as Lake Anna State Park.
As vacationers at Dream Catcher, you get to enjoy the amazing view and
amenities of the public side, as well as having access to the private side
through our community common area. The common areas provide both public- and
private-side launch ramps, picnic areas and a small beach.
